In America we live in a freedom of religion country. Sometimes though our beliefs can offend others and we get our rights taken away from us.

If your just hanging the rug shouldn't be a problem. But if you take it down and use it for pray where others can see you can open a can of worms that shouldn't happen but does.

I'm Christian but I have no problems with others worshiping in their own way (short of it being animal/human sacrifice).

it is rug to pray on, whether you pray or not still remains a rug.
they are pretty ornate and colorful, should offend anyone
