However, when I went round she was on her own and there was no wet paint anywhere. Is she cheating on me?

If you think she is cheating on you, how did she react when you showed up?It's very easy to let mountains grow out of molehills in a relationship, which is why its good to talk.
In a relationship, never rush into assumptions as this is the beginning of mistrust. When in doubt about an abnormal act,do ask the perpetrator personally.Even if you may not believe her, just tell her you trust her.If she is cheating on you then one day she may lose guard and expose herself.
If you have more doubts later then simply end the relationship because an affair filled with mistrust will not work.

She is probably dropping you a big hint that she is fed up with you, does not enjoy your company and wants you to leave her alone.

Even if she is not cheating yet, she will when she finds someone she wants to get involved with. Time for you to move along.

did u ask her where the painters where? there are two simple resons fot this, she was having sex with them, and they went hididn, or the best one, is she is giving you excuses so that she leave you outside the home, and few by few she dumps you! you had to ask her where tha pinters where and why she said so, otherwise it is in vain asking us, because we don't know you and ur gf and about ur relationship.
