oooh I like this question..Well I'm about 4'10 and I love it.I do have a problem when others say "you are so short!"I look about 16 but i'm 27 so I'm glad my face and body still looks flawless.I don't want anything to do with vericose veins, or fat, or wrinkles. So far Being short has really worked out for me but like I said I hate it when people make dumb stuff because if I'm happy in my body why should anyone have anything to say about it

I'm vertically challenged.... 5'1 and what I like the most is that 99% of guys are taller than me so it makes it easy to find a taller man. I like that people think I am younger because I am so short and I can get into the ball pit and tubes at Chuck E. Cheese. Also I can sleep any direction on a bed because my feet won't hang off. What I like the least is not being about to reach my cupboards top shelves and having to move the seat up in my car so I can reach the pedals. I have found a really good store to buy my jeans and such and that is Goodys.... when they say petite they mean petite. Being short isn't too bad....

The thing I like least is not being able to reach things that average height people can. Like to change a light bulb, or reach something far back on the top shelf in a store, or the ATM machine while sitting in my car.

I guess the only thing I like most is that you are a bit different from other average height people, and us shorter girls seem to attract some of the taller, muscular guys! That part is definitely not a problem!

PS - even though I'm short, I can't stand short guys!

I'm a 5'7" man, and I absolutely hate it! I wish so badly I was at least 5'10"!!! I feel like people don't respect me because of my height. Shorter men have so many disadvantages in life.

Most people aren't aware of how many subconscious things go on in peoples' minds that have to do with height. For example, when a tall person stands up for himself, he's seen as courageous, but when a short person stands up for himself, he's viewed as being pushy.

Plus I'm married and my wife is an inch taller than me, so that bothers me a lot, especially in pictures! I hated our wedding pictures because they just remind me that I'm a little shorter than her. It also bothers me how many women prefer TALL guys. I know I shouldn't think about it since I'm married, but I can't help it.

I love short women though! I wish I could somehow steal about four inches from my wife's height. ;)

I'm 5'3" 110 lbs ... and consider myself pretty short ... !

Growing up I hated it .. I was the smallest in my class throughout school ... I didn't even weigh a hundred pounds until 10th grade ... always being teased ... never fit in the cool clothes or shoes ... people always thought I was younger than I was ... I didn't even get to ride all the rides during our 6th grade field trip to the amusement park ... and never developed big boobies ... lol ... !

It was fun being the smallest during sports & I was faster than most people ... fit anywhere ... and I love the fact now .. I'm considered peteit & skinny and all the girls that made fun of me when I was little are now fat old jealous b*tches ... I also love that my man is so much bigger than me ... 6'2" 225 lbs ... he makes me feel secure and safe ... and when people think I'm younger than I really am now .. I just smile and take it as a compliment as before I would freak out and make a big deal about it ... !

Hate--my feet won't reach the ground when sitting in a booth at a restaurant. Love--being able to wear cute clothes from the kids department. Who would have thought a Care Bear tee could look so sexy with tight jeans and heels! 5'3'' on a good day.

When I was young I thought it was a bad thing to be short. I'm 5"1 and proud. I think the best thing is dating tall men and giving head without having to get my knees dirty LOL. Then theres the bad I hate not being able to see at concerts or movies...

I'm 5'3 (100lbs) and I love it ..

I didn't like it when I was younger as my mom would take me to the "kids" section to by my clothes. HOW EMBARASSING WAS THAT...!!! :)

I have small feet too (size 4 kids).. and last year, I took my grand daughter (she was 2 at the time) on a trip to Nova Scotia and we had "matching runners" which was a lot of fun! We received many fun comments!

What a great question!

well..im 5 foot 1 and everyone thinks im "cute" but i think its horrible to buy jeans or any pants really. if i get the "short" cut the they fit perfect with flats and sneakers but too short if i wear heals or boots..so i still have to get another size regular also...sheeeesh. and then theres not being able to reach things at work or in stores and needing to ask ppl you really dont know to help you..they always smile at me like im a child :)

i'm 5'3 but i love being short. because people think i'm not all that strong i can surprise them, and every one looks out for me too. my bf love my shortness and so do all of my friends cause they all think i look very cute. lol. one thing i hate though about being short is i can't reach alot of things. i owrk at tim hortons and everytime someone asks for a donut on the top shelf we have to take the donut from the back of the rack and i can barly reach it even on my tippy toes.
