Living together too soon is kind of up to the people in the relationship. Odds are if you were both ready to live together then it wasnt too soon. Only the people in the relationship can decide whether it is too soon or not nobody else can say. If you werent ready to move in together and you did it for some other reasons than yeah it could probably cause some strain.

I think it can possibly, however I think it can also strengthen the relationship and help it move along faster than it would if you lived apart. I moved in quick with my wife, after we only dated for a couple of months. At times while still getting to know one another we almost split over various differneces, and could have easily done so, but I think because we lived in the same house, it made it harder to do. After time things started to fall into place, and we got all those issues resolved early into our relationship as opposed to later (after marriage). You know they say that the best way to get to know someone is to move in with them...and I think that is true.

Yes! It did my last relationship, anyway. Well...we dated for seven months, long distance relationship, and then I moved in with him. Only lived there for two months before I moved out, into my own place. We stayed together for a few more months, but he ended up moving an hour away, so we broke up. Never should have lived with him, although I think we would have split anyway!

Any time you "play house" with a man, the relationship deteriorates. You're giving him everything he wants and getting zero in return. Wake up, people! Make these men step up to the plate and give us some security for a change!

I have to disagree. I don't see a problem what so ever of two people living together prior to marriage especially if they are engaged.

The sooner you live together...the sooner you get to know the REAL person. So it could be a good or bad thing depending on the real person.

Not unless you move in as soon as you meet them.

I believe that you should live with someone before you marry them because you never know what kind of gross habits they have in their own space.
