Well that is the first problem you have to overcome your fear and just go for it. Your not going to meet some one being shy and scared all the time. Just say hi to people either at work, school, stores. Try to make conversation and some one will talk back to you. Don't be to desperate though. You'll get a date you might just need to socialize a Little bit. Let people know you are available and eager to go out!
