I help anybody, anyway I can, friend or enemy. It is the Christian way. We are to love everyone as a brother, although I must admit, sometimes it takes a bit of working on. I still have trouble with this thing called judgement, which God says I should not practice. But yes, if they are in need, I will help those I am not fond of.

If I don't like someone, I don't associate with them, so no. Now if you are meaning a stranger on the street that needs help, yes! A friend, a family member, yes!

Ye,s I am a Christian... this is what I believe:

"Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you and persecute you."- Matthew 5:44, the Bible

So when people call me closed minded and politically incorrect, I just wonder if the world will ever have peace.

I guess I am closed minded for not being closed minded.

Well, I'm a teacher. It's my job to help people, even those I don't like.

But mind you, I only help those who WANT to be helped. I don't go around IMPOSING my help on those who don't want or need it. And since this is the "Religion & Spirituality" section, I think you know what I mean, right?

Yes I do...cause I know if I was in their situation I would also liked to be helped, even if it's by someone who doesn't like me.

No. There are enough people who want help, who have helped me, or who are agreeable and kind.

Why help someone I don't like?

I mean, if they were drowning or something, sure. But only for life or death situations.

Yes, and I'm atheist. You Christians don't have the market cornered on morality or ethics, compassion or pity.

God commanded us to love one another. Like is a different story. We are commanded to love our enemy. Does that mean we should have lunch with Osama bin Laden?
