Your doc is the only one who can advise you on that matter.

Related tip: don't stop taking Paxil cold turkey!!!!! I did and I had hallucinations, electric sensations and uncontrolable fits of rage.

Paxil is a serious drug and you should not stray from the directions on the label!!

You never want to experiment with medication period.

Never increase or decrease dosages on your own. Your doctor knows what is best...if it need to be increased/decreased...he will tell you how.

Many medications, Paxil being one, have to reach a certain level in the blood (saturation) to be effective. Many medication dosages need to be tapered to a higher or lower one to find the right dosage that works for you.. Do not ever attempt to do this on your own, otherwise, it can be very bad for your body....sometimes seriously.

Consult with your Doctor if you feel the present dose is not satisfactory.

Really, it depends on what the dosage is. More than likely you won't have any immediate, noticable side effects, but it is never a good idea to take more than the doctor's recommended dosage.

DOSE? Prob nothing but I would not want to start doubling up without doctors permission.

The trick is: not always how much.
twice as much as not always twice as good.
Chemical balance is what doctors seeks,

Less is sometimes more than enough.

Sounds like you have too much time on your hands.
