said that he wouldnt let you come back to his house, because, he still shares his house with his ex-gf, and the two of them have an agreement not to bring people back. ex-gf is seeing someone else (outside of the house), i have challenged him about it and have withdrawn marital favours for the last three weeks, he still says he really likes me and misses me, yet hasnt made any movement towards changing situation, ie telling ex-gf that he is dating someone. they have been split up for over a year...any ideas?

Oh this seems like it has too much emotional baggage for any normal person to want to deal with. It's suspicious and how are you supposed to have a mature relationship if you can't spend time together where he lives. It's only been 3 months. Dump him and find someone who's not bogged down with ex issues. And if he gives you the I'll change nonsense, tell him that you're going your separate ways, and when he does make the change, to give you a call then.

Well, if it was me, I would assume that they are still together, but just have an "open" relationship where they can see others. After a year, any lease that they signed together would have expired, so there isn't really any legal reason for the two of them to live together. I would wonder about any "ex" couple that still lived together after that long.
Run fast, or get used to being the "other" woman in his life.

sounds like they aren't split up. are you allowed to call his house, or just his cell? have you ever met the "ex" gf or even any of his friends? do you guys only hang out during the week, or during the day on the weekends? does he ask that you don't wear perfume because it "bothers his allergies"? those are all signs that he's making you his other woman.

why do they still live together? is there a child involved? I think that you need to assess if this relationship worht it in the long run? I know I wouldn't want my fiance to see his ex once in a while let alone every day! is that something you are wiling to deal with? it seems like it could become a bigger problem, especially if he sisnt willing to budge at all!+

Marital favors??

Why can't he come to your place? And what's the deal with his lease? He may be in a situation where it's not feasible right now. I'm assuming you knew of his situation before you started dating him. You should have thought about that before hand.

He is cheating on you! Or better, he is cheating on her! Why else would he not tell her he is seeing someone else? And they have broken up over a year ago, why the ***** are they still living together? Why do you put up with that? He is cheating on you both and you need to smarten up!

Ideas? MOVE ON!

Sorry, honey, but if he really did respect you, he would set the record straight with his ex. He prefers to respect the agreement then fight for the right to be with you. He may still like her, afterall.

This is a kind of greediness many guys have, don’t believe him. There is no way he will respect you. He wanted to be a dog in manger He wont eat you as well as wont let others eat. LET HIM TELL THAT. Don’t care him you better find a nice guy.

why are we being hypothetical? Just get it out into the open. Sounds like the ex isnt really the ex...perhaps you are now. Better check it out.
