You know, I would attempt to answer this, but I do not see any ideology, any reference to what you are asking, and little to no intelligence or thought patterns in this question. So, what I am going to say, is that you need to rephrase this question and perhaps try mentioning what area you are referring to as well as some sort of support for the defense of your position. Oh, and by the way, don't come and ask in manner that is inpolite or flat our idiotic. In other words, trying being intelligent about this, as we are all hear to discuss and be civilized, not immature high school kids, which by the basis of this question appears to show some evidence of this on your behalf. Have a nice day!
ADDITION: I seen some of the other answers, and can say that even if we were to begin a withdrawl, flat out packing up and leaving would not be well advised. Coming from a political and diplomatic stance, if we were to blow the hell out of Iraq and then just up and leave the place in ruins, the Middle East community is only going to hate us even more and I would imagine you could expect to see attempts of terrorist attacks on us increase. Plus you have to consider the rest of the global community's position. They are not too thrilled with us either right now, so it would probably only make us more isolated from the world, which in a time where global interdependence exists, it would not be favorable on our economy and thus strength as a nation. Just a thought...

the project an incredible style of human beings both ignore or do not comprehend is that below our recent regulations, -maximum- human beings are unlawful immigrants! Immigration quotas are merely about a century previous, and Ellis Island youthful nonetheless. even as I do imagine that someone who's already dedicated crimes should be apprehended and grew to change into over to his own u . s .'s police, being determined for a better effective existence for one's self and relatives could no longer be considered incorrect in itself. And our quotas are unfair--larger for Europeans than for human beings from African or Hispanic international locations.

What part of "This isn't a military question, I should post this in another category" didn't sink into your head?
Idiots like you with just overemotive appeals for rhetorical skills give pacifism a bad name. Perhaps you should ask why the United States doesn't tell all the foreigners living within its borders to "Go Home" as you so tactlessly put it instead.

The solders that I have spoken to say that most the people, especially in the north and south are thankfull for the protection from the Jihadists who have poored into the country. The people are signing up by the thousands to defend their country, even though the Jihadists are attacking them mercilessly. If you want to learn a lesson from history you can look at Germany and Japan after the war. It took 5-6 years to establish order after the war. The Iraqi government is know in control of its own forces and we are acting in a support roll. Because they are in control they can tell us to leave and we would have to. But they are not quite ready. You need to learn from history and not be so impatiant. You sound like a quitter. that will get you killed when fighting an enemy who is bent on global domination.

By "the USA" I hope you mean the current administration, as citizens opposed invading Iraq before we went, and want us out now.
It isn't that BushCo don't "understand" "go home!" it's that they're arrogant, ignorant, brutal, greedy, heartless, psychopathic morons who refuse to listen to reason or in any way acknowledge facts, evidence, or reality.

If we simply gave in as you so cowardly suggest we would not have an America, there would be no SW America, we would have been rolled over in WWII, Korea would be completely communist, Europe would be speaking German.
You need to get your head out of your *** and realize we are in this for the long haul.

IMO, that part which came crashing into the WTC towers back in 2001.
All OBL had to do, was stay back in his yemeni home and do whatever he did with his camels. And no one would have bothered him (except maybe the Animal liberation front)

IF you're referring to the U.S. invasion and presence in Iraq, the plan was to secure the country--for the oil and as a strategic spot in the Middle East. It has not been secured, yet. That's why the military are not allowed to simply pack up and go.
