This girl and i used to talk in the beginning of the year. Things were going great. fairy tale like in a sense. it was great but then a problem arose as we both went our seperate ways to different colleges, about 400 miles apart in 2 different states. My college didnt work out so i came back and going to another college about 20 minutes away from hers. We recently began talking again and im afraid im going to get too attached too soon. I really am not sure if i want to. During the summer i missed her and sadly, would put my hand over my chest as i would fall asleep. Then i began to get over it and school began and i was kicking butt in school. Now she is in my mind during all my classes and last night i held my chest again. I like her, a lot but i dont know if its worth it. ARRGGGHGHGHGGHGHGHGHGHDFHDKFDHFWKFHW~!!!!!!

Do you feel like you can't live without her? Do you love her? If you do, and you KNOW that you can be FAITHFUL to her, then why not be with her? Just take it SLOW! If you DON'T love her or you're not sure you're ready to be in a relationship, or you're afraid of being "attached or if you think you'll CHEAT on her, then you need to get over that girl and leave it alone.

Don't make it so complicated, make up your mind. Attachment isn't necessarily a bad thing, it is actually the most beautiful thing that could happen if she really is the right person for you. I suggest locking up yourself for an hour to get alone and get a piece of paper to write down reasons why or why not she may be the one for you. Divide the paper into two: in one column evaluate some reasons why this might be too soon to pursue romance, and in the other one evaluate why this might be the right time.
You may want to take her out on a few dates to find out. Most of these should be a group outing so you can see her real character--one on ones usually put you in an artificial environment where it only triggers you to fall in love with a false ideal image and not the real person inside that girl. Some ideal ways to get to know the real person behind the girl is to take her out camping in the bush, hiking on the mountain, or to a game of golf. Going in a small group is the most effective way to be transparent. Encourage her to take some good friends of hers--listening to them share stories also gives you clues as to what a relationship with her would be like.
After doing a reality check, decide whether you're going for it or not. I would seriously pray about it if I were you--it helps you handle the situation more objectively and wisely. I happen to be someone who doesn't believe in unmarried couples living together, so if you're serious about romance, if I were you I'd sit down with that gal, be honest about my feelings, and ask her if she's open for a romantic relationship with the eventual possibility of marriage. then set a goal for the wedding date and don't look back. don't be afraid with the commitment attached to it--read books like The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman and Personality Plus by Florence Littauer, invest in marriage CDs and seminars, and hang around older couples who have been married 20-30 years and are still in love. YOU'LL THANK YOURSELF FOR IT!
On the other hand, if after the reality check you've changed your mind, find a college program you like on the other side of the country and stop feeding your craving for her. The only way to kill a craving is to starve it.
