I love Lean Cuisines. Have a big salad with it and a whole wheat roll.

Microwaving food destroys some important nutrients, such as phytochemicals. Prepared foods, such as microwave dinners, are full of preservatives and often extremely high in sodium. They often lack a well balanced diet. It is best to eat healthy home cooked meals. Why not eat frsh fruits, vegetables, a balance of fish, poultry, and meats? Use the food pyramid to guide you. Remember to get a variety of foods. Different foods provide different nutrients. Many people make large meals and freeze small propotions so that when they are in a hurry they can eat healthy. Be creative and eat for health & nutrition.

I can't vouch for the healthiness of microwave dinners, but I can caution you on the use of microwave ovens.

Consider the following:

In one experiment, an individual took filtered water and brought it to a boiling point by boiling one sample on the stove and the other sample was brought to a boiling point in a microwave oven. When the respective water had cooled, she took two plants of the same size and healthiness and watered one with only the filtered water boiled on the stove and the other with water boiled in a microwave. After nine days, the plant watered with the microwaved water was dead. The plant watered with boiled water continued to be healthy.

Ten Reasons to Throw out your Microwave Oven

From the conclusions of the Swiss, Russian and German scientific clinical studies, we can no longer ignore the microwave oven sitting in our kitchens. Based on this research, we will conclude this article with the following:

1) Continually eating food processed from a microwave oven causes long term - permanent - brain damage by "shorting out" electrical impulses in the brain [de-polarizing or de-magnetizing the brain tissue].

2) The human body cannot metabolize [break down] the unknown by-products created in microwaved food.

3) Male and female hormone production is shut down and/or altered by continually eating microwaved foods.

4) The effects of microwaved food by-products are residual [long term, permanent] within the human body.

5) Minerals, vitamins, and nutrients of all microwaved food is reduced or altered so that the human body gets little or no benefit, or the human body absorbs altered compounds that cannot be broken down.

6) The minerals in vegetables are altered into cancerous free radicals when cooked in microwave ovens.

7) Microwaved foods cause stomach and intestinal cancerous growths [tumors]. This may explain the rapidly increased rate of colon cancer in America.

8) The prolonged eating of microwaved foods causes cancerous cells to increase in human blood.

9) Continual ingestion of microwaved food causes immune system deficiencies through lymph gland and blood serum alterations.

10) Eating microwaved food causes loss of memory, concentration, emotional instability, and a decrease of intelligence.

Have you tossed out your microwave oven yet?

Try Hoodia - this is a cactus that grows in Africa. 60 Minutes has researched this product, Oprah has featured it on her show. It is an appetite suppressant that works. A couple capsules of hoodia along with a soup or salad and some protein should be sufficient for an evening meal, and much healthier for you.

Best of luck!
