If your worrying is really taking a toll on your life and you feel that it is more than it should be and that you can't seem to control it, you could have Generalized Anxiety Disorder.

Go see your doctor to discuss how you are feeling. There is a lot they can do to help. Your doctor could recommend therapy, methods of relaxation or even medication if it's bad enough.

Don't just leave it alone - go and talk about it. I'm very glad that I did.

I know for me it was connecting to a higher power. I still don't go to church or even pray as much as I should but as corny as it sounds when I do connect with God and put him first in my life I began to notice that my life was much better & things went a lot smoother for me. My mother-in-law always said that we needed God in our lives more & I would roll my eyes & think "no, what we need is a million $ or whatever it was that I thought we needed at that time." When I stopped think like that & started to put my life in the lord as simple as it sounds it really worked life got much better for us. I mean we had some real problems too. For starters we were both heroin addicts, which was the cause of a lot of our problems and it was hard enough for one of us to have an addiction problem but when you're married to a junkie too it's really hard to quit cause you've then got two personalities and habits to deal with. He struggled with it for over 12 years and I for over 8 years it's now been several months since I last shot any dope and I feel really good about it. Now I'm not saying that I don't think about dope cause I do & I also struggle with depression (which is a side affect of coming off the heroin) but on average my days are much better then before and I'm still working on it everyday. What I always wanted to know was growing up, why didn't anyone ever tell me that life was so hard! Noone ever says how hard life is when you're a kid maybe if they had I would have tried to saver & enjoy my child hood more. All I can tell you is what is working for me & trust me other then illict drugs there is no quick fix & actually drugs never fixed anything for me it only made things harder in the long run. Try praying first, it's a small step that helps make you feel connected. Good luck

I use to worry allot too until i just started thinking...... thinking about why am i worrying about someone or something and they don't even care. It really makes you not want to eat or do the things you like. How i got rid of that habit, i stayed home for about 2 weeks and read the bible and really focus on the things I like and don't have your mind on the things that make you worry so much.
Some people call it love but it really isn't love all the time. It might be the person your worrying about makes you happy but there might be something other than that.

Church, praying, therapy, and meditating are all good, positive ways to deal.

Are you worrying about things you can control, or things you can't? That's one of the most important questions to ask yourself when trying to fix yourself.

Many people will have different responces and ideas about what is going on in your head, but only a trained professional who is actually sitting down in front of you can tell you what's going on.

Talk to a priest, bishop, therapist, or some kind of counselor.

Even if you don't have any huge problems, it just feels good to be able to talk to someone who actuallly listens and cares.

Oh yeah... keeping active and working out will work wonders on your body and your soul.

You may have an anxiety disorder. Try looking at this web site for starters. http://www.athealth.com/Consumer/newsletter/FPN_4_13.html

Worry is unproductive. If it is interfering in your daily functions then you need to seek treatment. It can be cured. You may benefit from counseling, in the meantime they may give you medications to keep it under control. Please remember that medications do not cure the anxiety disorder, it only helps the symptoms until you work on fixing your problems. You must identify your coping skills. Examine your life. Identify when this started and what triggered it. Find new approaches to effectively dealing with anxiety. We all face anxiety on a daily basis. What is important is how we deal with it. Please, get in under control now, so you can live a long & happy life free from worry.

BREATHE.... seriously, it sounds like nothing but just sit and BREATHE. What seems like a big deal might not be in the end. If you really want to seek alternatives, I would suggest yoga. But realistically, just take it easy, relax, and BREATHE.
