How much does the average adult golden retriever weigh?

Please only experienced answers as my dogs life kinda depends on this.

Males 65-75 pounds, females 55-65... That's for pure bred goldens, it depends on how yours is of good quality or not..

Depends on if it is male or female and whether it is close to breed standard or not. I would say it shouldn't weigh more than 80lbs once it is done growing, unless it was bred to be too large. If you know the parents sizes, and your dog is a male, look at the father, if it's a female look at the mother.

In my experience, females are generally in the 60's and males weigh in the 70's on average.
