Oh yeah, classified as a firearm under sec.5 of the firearms act. Indictable offence to be in unlawful posession and a very real possibility of doing bird if you get convicted. The amount of time will vary on circumstances, previous cons etc.

Only the police can legally carry CS, and thats only when they're on duty.

Get rid of 'em quick.

The Law: Cannabis is now a Class B drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (SI 2008/3031) since January 2009. The maximum sentence for possession is up to five years in prison or an unlimited fine or both. Dealing can result in up to 14 years in prison or an unlimited fine or both. The police who will confiscate marijuana found in your possession, have the option to issue a warning (primarily for first-time offenders) rather than arrest... or issue a penalty notice for disorder, with an on-the-spot fine of £80. Under 16, second time offenders can be referred to a ‘Youth Offending Team’ and third time offenders shall be arrested. They do not need to test the substance in order to act against any offender. Reality: These laws tend not to apply to middle-class white people.

You could be accused of being a terrorist for that. CS gas is no joke and you would have to have a very specialized military, or government license to even be near any. I would expect the sentence to be a serious felony, carrying plenty of time.

Yes it is, it is classed as a section 5 firearm. Only police and the armed services are allowed to carry it. There are lots of offences around firearms, possession is just one.(includes pepper spray)

Yes, it is illegal. CS spray is classed as a firearm, and only trained on-duty police officers are allowed to carry it.

As it is a firearm, and if you are found to be illegally possessing it... expect to be sent down the steps.
