My school is about 14000 and im a depentant child of a single parent making less then 40000?

Fill out your FAFSA, it will tell you what your EFC (Expected Family Contribution) is. It all depends on your situation. Does your parent receive child support? Do they contribute to an IRA? Did they have to file a 1040 tax return? All of this will factor in. Also, is your tuition $14,000 or is your school budget $14,000. If your budget is $14,000, then my guess would be your EFC would be around $1,500-$2,000 if your parent doesn't have any untaxed income.

It depends on how much you have earned and and how long you plan on attending school and if you are full time or not
