The new Hybrid Civics get 50 mpg, and cost about $8,000 less than the Prius.
But if you're looking for a used car, you're going to have a very hard time getting a hybrid. One good bet besides the Civic would be a Toyota Corolla (about 25-28 mpg).

Obviously your Prius and Insight will have great gas mileage, but due to the popularity you may have to pay a high price to obtain. Your Toyota Corollas are probably the best bet for finding a car equally fuel efficient to a Honda Civic.
Of course, depending on your price range a new Civic has a 30/40 mpg city/highway rating.

Im not exactely sure about your question. Do you mean what cars are easy & reasonable to fill? That would have to be cars fitted with small engines, for example a honda civic is around a 1.4 that would be fairly easy to fill. Any car under a 1.4 1.5 engine will be fairly easy to fill up. Dont be afraid to ask when your buying your car how much would it be to fill the tank? then that should give you an idea too! Good Luck!!...

Besides the Honda Civic, the Toyota Corolla is also extremely fuel efficient. The Dodge Neons are also surprisingly fuel efficient, but they are a really junky car and I don't recommend them. Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic is your best bet.

Chevy cavaliers, Volkswagon with the TDI engines get 50mpg and are still powerful, Stick shift cars usually get better mileage than automatics also.
