Jesus said rich men don’t go to Heaven easily and even implied that it wasn’t possible. Why are so many people with money and property Christian if they are probably going to Hell?

He said it's hard. Because rich people have their money, and no need for Christ. Unlike the rest of us.

He said not easily, but he did not rule it out. The eye of a needle is the small door in the gates of a city. It was used to keep large animals out at night. A camel could kneel down and inch its way through. Tough but not impossible. No one ever said rich people are going to hell. Another common misconception is that money is the root of all evil. The LOVE of money, is the root of all evil.

He says this after being asked by a man what he should do to get to heaven and Jesus told him to abandon all of his possessions and the man couldn't or wouldn't do it. Then Jesus replied with the comment you posted. It all depends on the attachment a person has to their worldly possessions. I know plenty of very rich people who could care less if they had it or not and they don't live like they do have it either!

Attachment to form creates pain. This is because all form is temporary. Yet the more people attach themselves to external objects, the more they create "weight" in the material world.

They are more prone to pain and unhappiness as they collect more and more things that they put their egos into and feel the need to protect and defend. This creates the hell many find themselves in. As the temporary nature of form becomes a reality many people resist this with all their might. This resistance to what is, creates the pain and hell in people's lives.

Learning to let go of attachment to things will allow people freedom from that pain. This is not to say that people should not have or use things. We need things to go about our daily life. We just don't need to make them a part of who we are.

Hell is what we create for ourselves out of the world we are given.

There's nothing wrong with having wealth, just don't put wealth before Jesus.

The love of money is the root of all evil.

ewye of the needle is in reference to the small door on the huge gates of walled cities in those days.
I pray that someday you will seek to know Jesus, and then you wouldn't be so bored and have to ask questions and make statements that are silly.
