There happens to be girls who prefer geeks. I am one of them. Don't try to do anything different, just be proud of the way you are rather than apologetic of it, and that confidence will be an attractive thing.

I went through engineering with a billion guys. There were definitely a high number of nerds and geeks. Nerds and geeks are great ppl, but you have to be realistic about things. What kind of girls would you like to be with? Are you looking for just anyone at all or are you dreaming of supermodels? It's okay either answer you give but you must realize that each answer will take you on a different path. *disclaimer: you may be offended if you are super sensitive*
True: majority of nerds/geeks (n/g) will not attract cheerleader types. False: n/g cannot get cheerleaders. True: if you do not want to change your apperance/habits as a n/g you will probably not get a cheerleader type. False: you have to be stuck with a n/g girlfriend.
Once you have decided which one you are, here's my advice:
1. If you are happy as a n/g and you don't want to change your life in anyway, work really hard, make lots of money and then attact a trophy wife. Otherwise, settle for the cute little masters student that is just as shy as you are.
2. If you want someone who is more glamourous (not necessarily better), start with showering and brushing your teeth everyday. Not trying to be condescending here but there were lots of guys in my class who did not realize this. Do not wear sweats and tshirt in public. Take your scholarship money, go to the mall and ask a nice sales girl (must be a girl!) to pick out a couple of nice out fits for you (start at american eagle or equivalent). Then get the lady at the perfume counter to pick out a good cologne (choose one that you can live with). Basically, chew gum, use deodorant and try not to wear really thick glasses. Join a club/organization!! You can't meet ppl if you don't go out! Volunteer somewhere where there are lots of young ppl. If you can't find a girl there, you'll find friends who hang out with girls.

You sound like a common sixteen three hundred and sixty 5 days previous guy. do not worry-I certainly do not think of you're a geek or nerd or something. i'm 15 and that i've got on no account had a boyfriend and lots of the people my age on no account have the two. i think of you're fantastic and purely might desire to attend until the amazing comes around.

Well, first find someone you like. You would be surprised at how many girls grow up to fall in love with the "nerds and geeks". Why do you label yourself as that? The negative label certainly doesn't bring about a sense of confidence. Girls like a confident guy, and if you show a little of that, they will like you for who you are. Good luck.

I'm a geek, and I don't have TOO much trouble meeting women. I have a hard time finding a decent one, but that's another topic. :)
Don't act like a geek!
Don't dress like one, don't talk like one. Be suave! be titillating.....flirty, funny, romantic. Be easy-going. Don't talk over someone's head (it's not polite). Be charming....go dancing, get outside your comfort zone a little. Be spontaneous and friendly. Strike up a conversation with someone if the opportunity presents itself.
I would NOT recommend going up to a strange girl and trying to say hello. I've never had that work for me. I usually get some nasty-@s$ reaction from them......why I don't know. I'm not homely, nor do I approach in a threatening way or anything. Maybe it's the ground water.......too much heavy-metal contamination for'em, I don't know, but I wouldn't recommend that one, but the other stuff.....go for it!

Don't worry about girls right now! Just use your brain and make something of yourself...then you will be able to have any girl of your choice! Girl's like successful guys! It won't matter that you are a geek or nerd then! Good Luck!

If you are a nerd,go to the town's library,u may find a similar nerd or sum1 who appreciates ur nerdiness.
If you are geek,chat in cyberooms ,post constantly on tech forums or best,attend mega cyberevents,u may meet a potential girlfren.
