If you are active duty wait if not actiive good luck. Biggest thing to say is find a realitor to help you. Find one you are comfortable with and can talk to you and not over you. Make sure before you buy you have it inspected this is different then an appraisal. This is just a few but you can go to local library and get a book on buying a house that is what I did. Sorry can't remimber the name but it was like one oh the "101 thing to know about buying a home" or something like that it was really good I have bought and sold 2 and now going to take a realitor test to start selling for others I hope
Good luck in you search.

Buying a home is really stressful..you can take out insurance for anything going wrong to protect you from being out of pocket...otherwise try to take it all in your stride..I believe next to a bereavement its the most stressful thing you can do...good luck and try to stay calm and collected.

Don't settle for something you might not be happy with.

If you turn down one you like for any reason, you will always find a better one.
