I need to do research for human development class.....?

Question

I am trying to decide what to research, on any topic that affects human development from egg to death. Looking for something that everyone else in class is not going to research, something original....So i want to know what others are thinking about what people can do to make life better for others. What are people thinking are the cause...of distress for others....and the effects? What changes could affect the outcome for the better? Its an open question, so I'm looking for a broad ideas, everyones answer is greatly appreciated.

Not ready for the dissertation...lol. What I am doing here is brain storming. I just want some different ideas, and looking for something that really catches my interest, for a place to start. I get tired of the same ideas people use in class. I wore myself out with the usual topics. Looking for something a little more original. My professor is also expecting some research papers on different topics.

I think you're biting off way more than you can chew with this. Unless this is going to be a doctoral dissertation., define your question's perameters a lot more closely.
