there is a guy ok me and him are just friends well thats what i want us to be but he keeps begging me to go out with him when i use to go with his best friend and i don't date my exs best friends thats just how i am but ne wayz he is comming to this football game to night well i have to work there but i always take a break ok but ne ways i go to this small school and there isn't a lot of white people and i told this dude that i don't date blacks or mexicans (no offence that is just how i was raised) and well i'm trying to get one of my white guy friends to be like a fake date... you know so i wont appear available to him and that way he might just get use to the fact that i just want us to be friends... i dunno but i feel bad... should i feel bad for having a fake boyfriend? do y'all think it is mean to fake that you have a lover??

How would you feel if you were this other person? Ask yourself that and i think the question answers itself. Society has told guys that persistance works so much, but yet girls seem to think guys are insane when they try it. Be honest and straight forward and you will have more respect from other people and more respect for yourself. By having someone "act" like your b/f your only delaying the problem. Good luck

Why don't you make this fake date a real date, then you wouldn't have to lie and if you'd be prepared to fake date him, why not see if you like him for real. tell this guy you don't fancy him. i don't think your explanation of i don't do blacks or mexicans is very good, what about japs jews spiks wogs pakis abo's of idiots?? thats not a good reason and if thats 'just how you were brough up' then i question your parents principles.
If you don't fancy him just say "mate i don't fancy you, but you're nice enough and i don't want to hurt your feelings so i'll be your friend........... at least till i pretend to have lost your number"

I wouldnt do that. Many times things like "fake" lovers get out into the open that hey...you just wanted to show the other guy up. Its happened to me b4. A guy who i absolutely didnt like kept asking me out and following me around for about six months. I finally wanted it to be over so i recruited my best friend (who i really did like!) to do the job. We all just talked over the internet, made it a point to hug infront of him in the hall, and do lil g/f, b/f things when he was there. A girl found out about me and my best friend, that we were faking a relationship, and got reallly ticked off about it and told the other guy. The other guy wasnt really affected because he was dumb, no offense but he was, but the girl and us got into a really big fight. You lose friends doing this! Dont even try it for your own sake!

No, I think you ned to just tell him how it is. If he doesn't like it, then it sucks to be him. I have never had a fake date in my life to get rid of a girl, but I have hurt severals feelings being honest with them. Did I like doing it? No. Could they ever say I wasn't honest with them? No way.

its kinda of mean. I can understand that u dont want to date him because hes ur ex's best friend, but it sounds like you dont want to date him because hes a diffrent race. find out if its okay with ur ex to date this other guy.. and maybe you'll find out your happy.?
