I get sick and tired of people bashing our president, they say he led us into Iraq, but he can't just wake up one day and say "my oh my, time to start a war with this country" and then close his eyes and spin a globe and stop it and say "that one" It takes a long time to be able to go to war and there has to be a vote taken place by the people in the executive office and it has to be unanimous to be able to go to war, there is over 535 people in those chairs and obviously most of them voted YES! to go to Iraq, so why is it that most short minded people who need something to complain about every day but doesn't stand up to do anything about it, blame president Bush and not support our troops. You wanna know what I say to those people "IF YOU DON'T SUPPORT THE TROOPS, FEEL FREE TO STAND IN FRONT OF THEM" or they can just go to canada and leave us well enough alone.

Please dont sent any more yellow bellies to Canada, we have enough over here. I am Canadian and I support the president and all his troops over there because i think if they werent, all the action would be here in our countries. These are the people that are squawing now about the troops being over there, but the first thing that goes wrong they would be saying how come Bush isnt doing anything? where are the troops?

I'm in complete agreement with you. I've been stating this very fact over and over again. However, blaming Congress puts blame on the Democrats that they love so much. Therefore, all the blame must be places on the president. It also has to do with total ignorance of how our government works. Believe it or not, there are some who believe Bush just sent the troops over there. They don't know that Congress had to pass the declaration of war. And yes, Congress did know it would be war. Whoever said they didn't is a show of how ignorant people are. Also, you can tell by the replies that people are full of hatred. You state that you're in the military and they still act like you know nothing. Oh yes, that's right....everyone in the military is brainwashed!! HAHA What a joke. It's funny how we're all brainwashed or stupid when we don't agree with their views. I wonder if they're capable of not calling names, insulting people or just using fact and intelligence when challenged.
No matter how many nasty replies you get, thanks for the post. You have my total agreement. Also, from an Army wife, thanks for what you do each and every day.

If you get sick and tired of people bashing our president then don't vote for a Nazi next time.
I support the troops everyday. There is a thing called excize tax on my telephone bill. That tax goes directly to support the war effort.
If you want to support the troops further, I'm sure there's an induction office near you. The troops can certainly use your brute strength on the front lines, instead of your worthless rants.
Support the troops. Bring them home now!

Why would I support a bunch of murdering maurauding raping thugs sent to oppress and occupy an innocent country?
Any man who stands for justice and the rule of law would stand against the deployment of any troops who are being used as a tool of oppression.
Childish minds should stay out of foreign policy- and that includes Bush's, and yours, dear asker.

Standing in front of troops is for martyrs like yourself stupid imbeciles who are easily led by jerks who wrap themselves in the flag. If you took the time to think I know that something new for you but try hard. You would remember the people who voted for this mess didn't have all the facts. The facts they received were cherry picked from various intell sources and presented completely out of context or as in the yellow cake speech using discredited info 6 months before that speech the info had been discredited. This is why we had the whole Valerie Plame distraction because bush was caught in a lie. PS I AM A LIBERAL AND I WON'T ABANDON MY COUNTRY TO INCOMPETENT HATE FILLED TRASH LIKE YOURSELF!!!!!!

Bush and Congress bear the blame. Bush for misleading, and Congress for buying into it. Most morally corrupt people will use a "free pass" if you give it to them, regardless of the consequences.
As for the troops, I support them. I don't want to see any more of them killed or wounded in a civil war we have no business sticking our nose into.
Don't assume I don't support those doing the actual work because I don't support their appointed draft-dodging leader.
I wrote my congressman and senator (all Republicans) when they were voting to cut your pay and benefits. I am sorry our Republican leadership has betrayed the trust you (and I) have put in them.
As for the "go to Canada" comment, loving America means staying here and putting in the hard work needed to see America live up to her ideals.
Those who point out flaws in our government do so because they want to see our country live up to the promise of democracy laid out in our Constitution. To allow any less is contrary to what America truly stands for.

I blame the entire administration, not just Bush. I also blame the attempt by our government in conjunction with others to create a one world government. I do support the troops, that is, the efforts to bring them home and out of harms way. They are just pawns of our unjust war whose lives mean nothing to the current administration. People like you who tell others to like it or leave it are the problem in this country. If ignorance is bliss, you must be absolutely orgasmic.

the vote was not to invade Iraq. It was to find weapons of mass destruction and get out... I have 3 friends in Iraq right now. All they want to do is come home. They encourage people to protest the war.
