I think it should be very inhuman to send a message to future killers as to their fate if they kill a child. We need to take the gloves off and at act like this is a major problem.Hell is to good for a person who would hurt a child but I say send a few there anyway!

In the early 80's in Marianne ILLinois an inmate killed a Fed. officer. That inmate was given one of the harshest punishments that can be dealt out. He was given a "NO HUMAN CONTACT" sentence. He was placed in a cell with a glass wall and artificial lighting 24 hours a day. He was not allowed visitors nor was he ever let outside for any sort of excercise. The lights remained on 24 hours a day and he didn't have a window to his cell. He remained in that cell to the day he died.

This is what they should do with child killers and child molesters. This inmate never even had contact with another inmate as long as he lived.
Why should perps get to escape from their pain. They should have to live every moment of their lives in a hole.

As much as I "detest" child rapist, pedophiles, and murders, I cant find words to describe my feelings about them, thats strong enough with out a few swear words involved, so, I will just keep it under the breath.

But, even "they" deserve forgiveness, as we each do, because JESUS CHRIST died for ALL our sins, and you may just find a few of them in Heaven, who have repented and found the LORD. Almost everything can be forgiven, (except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit), and I pray that each of those vile and dastardly characters DO find the LORD.

I dont wish my worst enemy, (which I have none), to that place, where torment is constant and forever. No, let them do thier time on earth locked away in a cell, away from "normal" people, because for each action, there is consequences, and they will suffer the consequences of thier actions, and be put away for the rest of thier natural lives.

I am editing this answers, because I have just read the account of that 53 year old man assulting those girls, and possibly molesting them... I am 50 years old and it brings tears to my eyes, seeing what a twisted individual can do to innocent children! I really cant fathom a mind, that would prey on innocence, such as our kids in Society. And to "want to go out in a blaze of Glory" as this guy did in gunfire, possibly his own as well as the snipers, is unfathomable to me...

Society has made most of the individuals, who are sick and twisted in the mind, because the kids were beaten and abused as children from other "sickos", and they just dont know any better life, or life is "real" to them, and pain and suffering is all they know, so, thats how they treat everyone else.

But, before I get on my "soap box", I shall call it quits here, and since its too late to pray for them, that are dead, lets pray for all the victims, both of this shooting, and those who will be molested, and murdered and accosted in some way, in the future, and for the poor families of each of these individuals who have lost thier lives at this incident, and for all the victims.

I wish you well..

Jesse

I can certainly understand the sentiment, but I am not sure that it would do any good in preventing future child murders. People who kill children are not in their right minds and maybe even not capable of rational thought. Some are acting on pure rage (like an abusive parent), some are mentally ill, and some are just sickos living in a fantasy world. In any of these cases, they wouldn't stop beforehand to consider their consequences, and I don't think they would stop to consider them no matter how severe they were.

I agree. I wish things were like it was when I was growing up. I mean yes the problem has always been there but when my parents were growing up the could walk around the block and be OK. When I was growing up we could at least be alone in the front yard. No days if someone wants your child they will break in your home and take them. It's sad. And I believe it's because we don't punish child killers accordingly.

I think the punishment for child abusers and murderers should be the exact same thing that they did to the child. There have been some terrible things done to children and these people get away without punishment. Jail time is given but the child is either gone or will never recover.

Slow and torturous...which is how many of them kill kids. You're right,it is a major problem, but when are the judges going to realise that? In a recent case, someone got 3 years for murdering a baby. They'll be out in 18 months.

Child murderers. Ruthless, no care for the child, or what they're doing to it. Hmmmmmm, I think, they should be given a choice on how they want to die, from a small list of things that people who agree would have to vote on.

We could bring back hanging.
Bring back the Firing Squad, as well as the Guilletine, or however it's spelled, lol. Sometimes it won't kill them on first strike, so it has to be done again. :D What fun that would be.
We could remove their genitals without numbing, and without them sleeping it through, just strap'em down and start hacking away.
Could throw them in a pit of embers. Hell, I'd vote for them all, whichever, I think, when someone is convicted of murder, and it is 100% sure, off they go to never return. As well as the people who are serving more then one consecutive life term? What the hell is that all about? You can only live one...so, bye, bye to them as well.

This is an add-on, I like this idea alot. They could just give those people who murder and rape children to people like us who hate them, and let us beat the living hell out of them, leave them there to bleed to death, or, well, we'll beat them to death.

I must say I agree with you 100%. The laws should be more intensive when any act of violence is committed against a child. Then perhaps there would not be a second, third, etc. until finally it escalates to murder

Well we tax payers will just have to keep paying for these bastards to live in jail for life or on death row for life....ya notice how it takes about 10-20 years to kill a bastard on death row. I believe once sentenced to death...they should be put to death the same day or day after TOPS!

Definitely, those sick people deserve to be tortured just the way they tortured those poor children. We are way too easy on them. The death penalty should be instated in every state for pedifiles and I don't mean lethal injection...that's too easy. It shouold be the elctric chair or the gas chamber.
