It's typically, all over the US anyway, the best time to get good weather...not too hot, not too cold, no storms, lots of flowers around. Plus there aren't a lot of holidays or other events usually going on around that time so no family conflicts.

Tradition, good weather, their parents got married in June. June IS the month to get married in....just because!
I've been married three times and never in the month of June....go figure!
