i would say no,i am aslo allergic to cats,but a few years ago i had a chance to do some work with bengal tiger cubs,no reatction at all,and i handle them as well as played with them so you most likley do not

Thank God I'm not allergic to cats, but I don't think I would like to try to cuddle up to a lion or tiger to find out if I was allergic to them. Stick to what you know!!!

If I was up close and personal with a lion or tiger I think that sneezing would be the last thing on my mind.

Not necessarily. It just depends on the dander they have. It doesn't look like you would be though. You can always get an allergy test done to find out for sure. Why would it matter unless you're planning on going on a safari somewhere.
I had a professor who had allergy tests done and found out he was allergic to mice, not rats, and cockroaches.

Yes, the molecular structure of their fur is very similar and that's what you're allergic to.
