I don't know what your taste in liquor is so here are some thoughts.

15 ml Peppermint Schnapps
15 ml Coffee Liqueur (Kahlua)
Layer. Peppermint schnapps first, then the kahlua on top.

1 part peppermint schnapps
1 part Bailey's Irish cream
1 part Jagermeister herbal liqueur
Shake and serve.

1 shot peppermint schnapps
1 shot cinnamon schnapps
1 shot Aftershock Hot & Cool cinnamon schnapps
fill with Sprite soda
Pour liquors into mug. Fill with sprite.

3/4 shot Peppermint Schnapps
3/4 shot Goldschlager
Pour and serve.

1 oz Vodka
2 oz Peppermint Schnapps
1 can Mountain Dew
Pour mountain dew into a large glass with ice cubes. Add vodka and avalanche schnapps, both pre-chilled. Stir and serve.

If your not into any of these just wait til Christmas and serve some festive drinks. See recipes at the site below

After 30+ years of being a bartender, the favorite drink for peppermint schnapps is called a Peppermint Pattie. Just pour a shot of the schnapps in a mug full of hot chocolate. Add either whipped cream or marshmallows and you're set.

I even like it and I don't like peppermint schnapps either!!

Enjoy!!

1 (16 ounce) jar light corn syrup
2 cups vodka
2 teaspoons peppermint extract

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DIRECTIONS:
Combine sugar and corn syrup in 2 quart pan over medium heat. Heat until sugar dissolves, stirring regularly.
When the sugar has dissolved, pour in the vodka and stir well. Remove the mixture from heat and cover tightly with a lid. Let the mixture cool before adding peppermint extract and pouring the mixture into a sealable bottle.

Peppermint Schnapps Ice Cream

Makes 1 quart

1 ½ cups whole milk 1 ½ cups heavy cream
½ vanilla bean ½ cup granulated sugar
4 egg yolks 1 tsp. peppermint extract
2 tbsp. peppermint schnapps ¼ cup crushed soft peppermint candies (substitute candy canes)

Fill a medium saucepan with water. Bring the water to a gentle simmer. Place a glass bowl on top of the saucepan. Add the milk and cream to the bowl. Cut the vanilla bean in half, and then scrape the seeds into the milk and cream mixture. Add the pieces of vanilla bean.
Slowly bring the milk mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes.

In a separate bowl add the granulated sugar and egg yolks. Whisk the eggs and sugar together until the mixture is smooth and pale yellow in color.

Slowly whisk some of the hot milk mixture into the egg yolks. Then whisk all of the egg yolk mixture back into the bowl of milk.

Stirring constantly, cook the milk mixture until it thickens and coats the back of a wooden spoon, about 15 more minutes.

Pour the milk mixture through a strainer into a bowl. Let the custard cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate overnight.

The next day, remove the custard from the refrigerator. Pour the chilled custard into an ice cream maker and process. Just before the ice cream is at the desired consistency, pour in the peppermint extract, peppermint schnapps and crushed peppermint candies. Continue to process the ice cream for another 5-10 minutes.

Note: the ice-cream will be “soft-serve” at this stage. You can spoon the ice cream into a bowl, cover it and place it in the freezer until ready to serve. Let the ice cream thaw on the counter about 5 minutes before serving.

If you want simple then use the peppermint schnapps later for shots and buy some Vodka. With peppermint flavor almost nothing goes with it.

I think that you would do well to try it in juice drinks. 3/4 oz. peppermint schnapps, 3/4 oz. vodka, and about 3 to 5 oz. of orange, cranberry, pineapple either individually, or as a pair of juices (OJ & Cran, Cran & Pine)
I have not seen these receipes, but making up your own drinks can be fun.
Good luck.

A friend of mine likes it with 7-Up or some other fizzy clear soda. I don't care for peppermint too much, but I tried hers and it wasn't bad!
