Christians believe in something they have never seen. Yet they have felt. Christians believe in a glorious heaven and all knowing being that created the entire universe. We believe that a man can die and rise from the dead. We believe in everlasting love and mercy. We believe in a rapture that will take place and result in Christians disappearing into thin air and rising up in the air to meet Christ.

U call that thinking inside a box do you?

Okay then I would like answers that show me how much u think outside the box If it doesn't go any further than that a man can rise from the dead. And out of this universe. Then consider your response boxed.

You call us weak for believing in almighty power and justice.

I call you weak because you can't.

Love,

Our belief system is based on Faith. Those things which have occurred but not been seen. Since the fall of Adam, man has been cursed with a split nature. One half that is born of the Spirit, the other that is on the flesh. In an effort to answer the great mysteries of life, we as a whole have tried to "box" our ideas. Some have never heard the Good News of Jesus. Take a minute to read Colossians 1:9-14. Hope this helps! God Bless

As usual the broad rigid brush of the one is used to annoy the many. Look, first off, not all Christians believe exactly the same thing, so to which Christians are you referring? Secondly, as someone who believes in the divine God, I don't believe you are being entirely honest. I have many friends who do not believe what I do, and have never accused me of not thinking outside the box.

Having said that, I DO find that some Evangelicals and Right Wing Political Christians to be somewhat narrow and rigid in their thinking. They do, on the one hand say to believe in an all loving God, yet in the next breath spew a hatred towards many of Gods other children that is akin the what Jesus heard as he took the cross to Calvary. These people, these so called Christians are not Christ-like either in their practise of faith nor are they understanding and respectful of theirs. If these are the Christians you speak of, then I must count myself as one who does find them inside a box of sorts, the box of Pride and Prejudice, neither of which Christ would approve.

The box that non-christians adhere to is the one where only tangible proof exists for you to believe.

Christians think outside that box by exhibiting faith in the intangeable.

Christians are thinking outside the box of non-believers.

That is not thinking outside the box. That in believeing what you read in a book. A book that has been written, rewritten, and edited over hundreds of years. In fact, your not thinking at all. You believe what you have been told all your life. You have let others do the thinking for you.God is good, God is real. And its all based on a book. I have several hundred on my bookshelf, should I start reading one and believe it just because someone wrote it down?

In shakesspear's Romeo and Juliet. Juliet rose from the dead. Should we start taking that as fact and make her a God too?

Believing in whacky, magical, impossible things does not mean that you are open-minded... it means that you are gullible, willfully ignorant and delusional. You are thinking 'inside the box', all right... a box constructed from the myths, superstitions, fairy tales and fantastical delusions of a tribe of ignorant Bronze Age fishermen and peripatetic goat herders. Too bad you, and others of your ilk, can't be kept locked inside that box, so that you cannot continue to do intellectual harm to the human race.

I call you weak, for having to hope there is a magic man to solve all the problems. For giving credit for hard work, to a god. If all those things you are talking about, are thinking outside the box, then children are masters of thinking outside the box, they belive a fairy comes and gives money for their teeth, a fat man gives presents at xmas. Beliving in myths, is not open thinking. Its weak thinking. If someone is in a car wreck and breaks all their bones, and says thank god for saving me, he is a fool. Thank your seatbelt.

Non Christan's vs Christians an age old battle, It's all about what you believe and feel, Should you even care what others think. Anyone who spend their time battling over meaningless questions are in a box anyway.

WONDERFUL POINT!!! Isn't that just the absolute truth though? They can not think outside the box have faith. I guess there is a fine line between "THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX" and as they call us crazy or delusional. I guess its a double standard and depends who's doing what for it to qualify according to earthly standards.

What ever though, you make a brilliant point. Lets see how two faced the answers will be.

Forget about the stupid box and try thinking with your brain. Believing something to be true doesn't make it true. Your guessing just like everyone else
