went 2 years to community college and worked full time since I was 18. The day i graduated HS i signed my first lease. I live in an area where most people went to school. My concern is this. My bf is a collage graduate and we are going to his school this weekend. Anytime i am there or around his friends they always ask me where I went. MY general answer is " I went to school Locally." I had one of his friends Question me in depth understanding my circumstances, but to the others, what can I say without getting an odd look from them. I am not ashamed and this is why I want a good answer to come back with.

If you're not ashamed of it, don't be evasive about it, just say "I went to community college for a couple of years, but I didn't go to University." If someone is going to give you an odd look over that, they're not worth having as a friend anyway.

just tell them that yes you been to college and that you have been working since you turn 18. which to me is very important in it self. other than that i would not explain anything if they don't like it i guess it too bad. some people always think they are better if they been to better college and etc. don't let this bother you try and have a good time.

Do not be ashamed of your accomplishment just because it is local community college! people will respect you if you are proud of what you did but if you are shaky about it they will feel it and give you the odd looks!

Just Lie screw the world it dosen't matter what they think of you and besides all that matters is that your ok now so don't worry bout it just make something up that's what i would tell my gf
it's not important anyways...and it's not about being ashamed either just get through the night and you can forget all about them ,,,

well i would probably tell a white lie. tell the truth if your not ashamed. you can complete college buy going to a community college. or just say ur a career criminal and it didin require you to goto school.
