Life is too short to not eat good food. By good food I mean ones you enjoy! Also those five years at the end...when I'm pissing myself and forgetting who I am, you can have those I'd rather die with a BLT in one hand and a nice homemade brownie in the other and know they are there.

I want an extra 5 years of life. I stopped eating pork sausage, and bacon years ago. I now eat turkey bacon and love it. Pork is fat, fat, fat. If you eat it on a regular basis, you're asking for a heart attack.

ooh - if only you could choose which 5 years... if it was from age 18-23 then i would definitely take the years. if however the cakes and rot could be scoffed at the expense of ages 90-95, i'll have extra cream with mine thankyou!

I don't eat most of that, but the question is not very good. Anyone can eat that stuff, just in moderation. What's next? meat causes cholesterol so we shouldn't eat that either? Besides, nobody has yet proved that any thing in moderation has reduced the lifespan (excluding illegal drugs)

Good food now beats 5 years ( probably in a nursing home) hands down.

The extra five years since I'm not fond of any of the items you mentioned... Oh, I guess I used to be but I haven't had them long enough now that I don't remember what they were like...
