I have no problem with people crossing the border to work to support their families. If the situation were reversed... Mexico rich & the US poor...I would be swimming the river headed south to support my family.
The problem I have is when they do enter illegally why do they expect to recieve government subsidies such as health care & welfare. These are paid for by taxpayers for US citizens. If you want to enter illegally & work fine, but don't expect me to help pay your way.

Pay attention when you're in school or go to the library and read a good book on American history.

War is just that, WAR. The spoils of war go to the victor. The USA was the victor in the war with Mexico. We also PAID $15million for the privilege of whooping Mexico's butt. The people who were on the USA side of the Rio Grande were given the opportunity to cross over into the Mexican side or stay in the USA. Those who stayed were considered 'citizens' of the USA.
Illegal immigrants pay SALES tax. THAT is NOT 'INCOME' tax. Those illegals who pay 'income tax' do so with forged, stolen, fake or RENTED social security cards/numbers. ANYTHING an illegal invader does in the USA is illegal, because HE is ILLEGALLY HERE.
NO one is 'jealous' of an illegal invader. Most have lousy jobs. We want our citizens RIGHTS protected. ONE of those RIGHTS is for our LAWS to be enforced. I am bilingual and bi-cultural and in a great profession, and frankly have done rather well. I am not jealous. I'm angry that people think they can cross our boarders illegally and expect the same rights that I have worked VERY hard to get.

i am not jealous of them. I have a very good job. They break laws. They are criminals. They steal Social Security Numbers they are criminals. They need to leave and become citizens they way the legal immigrants do.

curiously you have not considered the movies of dozens of fellows only storming the border checkpoint at Tijuana. The police have been overwhelmed. those they caught they'd purely only turn around and deliver lower back to Tijuana.
