Uh...wow.
Yoga is an exercise. It helps the mind and body. Some relgions may incorporate it as a part of their practice but the exercise in and of itself is not a 'spiritual thing'. Yoga involves no worhsip whatsoever. Yoga does NOT involve worshiping any god whatsoever. Just because it can be a 'spiritual practice' does not mean that it involves worshiping other God(s). I feel that I need to reitterate that Yoga is an exercise of the mind and body that does not involve worship. Actually, a Christian coud incorporate Yoga/Meditation into their worship when worshiping God. A Christian could use Yoga as a tool to clear his/her mind and become closer to God and/or pray.

Yoga is a spiritual practice, why would you need a god if you are already spiritual? I refuse to follow some petty and jealous god :)

Yoga is not for hindus only...it is for humanity, the greatest gift of ancient sages, who researched on the mysteries of mind and universe.
For doing Yoga there is no need to change religion or God,
Yoga takes you to the heights of mental evolution..and helps us merging in the supreme consciousness (god)

It's also used for relaxation and as a way to stay fit. If you feel it is a sin, then don't do Yoga. Sit on the couch and read the bible.

It really sucks that you have a jealous god.
My god is accepting of other beliefs because there are many paths to knowing god. Actually, my god feels sorry for your jealous god.

for me, i know yoga was DESIGNED for another religion, but i feel it brings me closer to my God when i apply it to my religion. i use it as a form of exercise to help me be physically fit and feel good about myself as God would want me to, but I also find the music and sweating/heat, candles, etc to be very relaxing and in this relaxation i feel my connection with God is stronger and i can talk to him easier.
