Not everyone who gets aneurisms get to live a long time, however it is possible. My mom had a brain aneurism about 8 years ago and we had thought we were going to lose her. When we were told the operation was a success then we were left wondering how her mind would be. Would it be normal like she was before or did the aneurism did damage to her brain to make her not able to talk normal or do everyday normal things. God did answer our prayers and my mom is still normal ( if you call shopping from 7 am to 6 pm) my mom is like the energizer bunny when it comes to shopping so we know that one thing never changed. LOL. Some people that get aneurisms die immediately when the aneurism explodes, and some that make it through the surgery tend to not be the same as before like talking, walking the usual day to day things comes harder for them. I hope I helped a little. Have a great day.

Keep a close eye on your blood pressure and avoid stress if possible. The stents will help keep integrity of the ballooning vessel. Good luck.
