I am a female, 5'7 125 lbs perfect BMI. My wedding is December 16th. There are a few places I would like to lose a little womanly fat like on my tummy, my bum, and my thighs. I did the Body for Life program during the summer so I have some muscles already (especially on my arms) and I don't want them to get any bigger, so I am not going to weight train. If I do a 1,500 calorie diet, take Tonalin CLA, and do my Gazelle for an hour every other day, will I lose a little weight? I just want to get rid of that last body fat, I'm not looking for major weight loss I know I'm healthy.

You seem a little obsessive about your body... at 5'7" and 125# you really should not be going on a diet. You are likely to lose the weight in areas you do not care to. And you are likely to lose muscle as well.
If you want to lose weight in certain places (like tummy) the best thing is to do stomach crunches or somethin of the like to tone that area up... not diet. See a nutritionalist or a personal trainer for specific advice abotu certain body areas.

Sweetie if you go on the diet part of it... you'll gain all the weight back as soon as you stop the diet. I would just stick to the gazelle everyday for a while. Also I would try winsor/pilates or some other pilates tapes. The programs are designed to slim you down a bit in those annoying areas we all have. And they don't build up muscle but give you long muscles like a dancers. I'll give you the site of winsor pilates site. They aren't expensive at all. And I think they are fun. Temporary diets aren't a good plan because all you have lost just comes right back as soon as you stop the diet. Stay on a healthy diet and the hour a day work out.
Good luck and CONGRATS!!!!

You really shouldn't be on a 1500 calorie diet unless you plan on staying on a 1500 calorie diet (which is really not good for you). As soon as you increase your calorie intake, your body is going to save everything as fat.
Instead of obsessing over calories, just eat healthy. You should have about 3 moderate size meals and 2 healthy snakcs everyday, rather than 3 large meals. And run (or do your gazelle) to stay fit.
You should choose a lifestyle that will help you stay fit and healthy-not a diet that will only give you short term results.

There are too many other factors involved to make a guess at that. One thing I will say, however, is do NOT fit your wedding dress based on the size you want or hope to be on Dec.16. I've seen women do it and it is never a pretty result, even if they do lose the weight.
Continue to live your healthy lifestyle and you will shine on your big day!

It doesn't sound like you really need to be on a diet it sounds like you are already healthy. Just do some exercising a little bit and you should be good for your wedding. You should lose some pounds, stay in great shape, and stay healthy. You don't want to lose too much weight or you will look unhealthy. Congratulations to you!

you should lose weight on that diet. But, you need exercise as well. I dont see that you need to lose any weight. So, maybe just do exercises to work on toning those areas would be better for you and just try to eat healthier vs watch calories? congrats on the wedding. Best of luck to you

You have to really push it for the last 15lbs. just when you think you can slow down you have to speed up
your body has already adjusted and lost the necessary weight to the excercise
now it needs new and stiffer work
