Absolutely!

You may not have heard of Krill Oil yet, but it will be a household name very soon.

It is an Omega-6, and is giving people fantastic cholesterol-lowering results. It's 300 times more powerful then plain old fish oil.

You can find some here: http://foryourhealth.jerkydirect.com

Natural Cholesterol Guide?

there is an herb for every problem you can think of... but i avoid them for the most part because thier chemical properties make them much like drugs. they can cause harmful interactions with each other, as well as with foods and medications if not used carefully. before taking any herbs you should consult your doctor or pharmacist.

in the meantime, a good way to decrease cholesterol is to increase your fiber intake. oatmeal contains soluble and insoluble fiber and actually takes cholesterol out of the body in the bowels. if you eat 1 packet of instant oatmeal before each meal, decrease your intake of shellfish and red meats, use fat free or low-fat dairy products, and exercise for 20 to 30 minutes a day, you should see a significant decrease in your cholesterol level. if diet and exercise do not make enough change, you may consider speaking with your doctor about a cholesterol lowering agent like lipitor or crestor.

there is, at best, only empirical evidence for this.

It is interesting that published studies have shown that the Atkins Diet, hi protein, hi fat, low or no carb, dramatically lowers ldl cholesterol and raises hdl cholesterol (good cholesterol).

What all this means is the medical science doesn't fully understand the cause and effect of diet, combined with genetics that lead to heightened cholesterol levels
