lately every time the jimmy shuts off it won't start again.Tried the manual re-set instruction , but it is still doing it and can't afford car repairs right now. Any suggestions?

there are so many things that could be the problem it would be impossible to give you a diagnosis. try this though, when you try to start it
cycle the ignition switch on and off three or four times. listen for a motorized buzzing or humming sound from the rear of the vehicle when you turn the key to the on (not the start) position. if you hear nothing it could be a fuel pump. have you changed the fuel filter lately? ever? it's cheap to try that 1st. by the way...what is the manual re-set instruction?

are you sure its the anti theft system being activated? To be sure find someone to pull codes out of pcm to see if fuel enable is ok.Limited info to diagnois.
