When people use the work please it makes me think we all still have hope. Not everyone is ignorant. When they say thank you I know we have hope and when they truly are sorry and say it from the heart I realize hope is still a live and well. My hope is more people would realize a kind polite word or just a plan I'm sorry goes along way in this rude corrupt society. So I think these words are very significant.

Personally, using these words in daily life shows not only respect for other people, but respect and love for yourself.

To say please, admitting to yourself and others that you are not above them, you are equal.

To say thank you, showing respect and appreciation.

To say I'm sorry, expressing empathy about your actions, or another persons situation, shows that you are human and accepting of your faults as well as those of ppl around you.

I agree, these are like the oil in the engine of life. But i think that we can't live without them. If an engine has no oil, it cannot run. So in life, we get burned out and cannot experience life as it was intended.

There's a lot of value in those words for me. I use them all quite often. Thank you - for showing gratitude toward something you're thankful for...Please - A nice way of asking politely...Sorry - To show concern for someone you may've hurt in some way. It's a way to try to make up for something you've done mistakenly to let one know it wasn't intentional and you'll strive to not do it again. I feel it's very important to use these phrases so those whom you love (that love you) know you care enough to be appreciative, regretful, or courteous anytime necissary.

IF some1 is not talking 2 u,u both can be frends again,if one of u commit ur mistake and say sorry..
AND if u say plzz to some1 and ask 4 a favour then that person might help u...
IF u say thnxx 2 some1 after taking his/her favour then that person will surely feel that u r a kind person ...and may help u the next time also..

aand if u r askin the importance of all these things, then it depends on the person thoughts---- how he/she thinks......about thngs like sorry, thnxx etc.

When somebody says sorry afte r doing something bad for somebody, he is supposed to regrt for the mistake and that what he did was unintentional and that he would not do it again for any one.
when some one thanks somebody for doing dsome small favour , it conveys to the person concerned the grtitude of the person to whom the other person did something . The spontaneous uteence of the word thanks would show that the pesrosn saying that is pleased and is grateful for the favour extended to him

when some one says please , he conveys his expectation to the other person in a politre manner for extension of some little favour and request him to be pleased in doing something .or be pleased to grant some favour .or forgo something and put up with some inconvenience .
.

They are EXTREMELY valuable words. Quite possibly the most important words in our society - but there's a catch to that. They're only worth anything if said sincerely -- which is rare.
