I am trying to figure out if I can take the train on Columbus Day 10/9/06. Does NJ Transit run on a holiday (sunday) schedule that day or is it a regular monday schedule?

It doesn't say on their site, so please don't direct me there.

The NJ Transit website "DOES" say Columbus Day is a holiday. You should check out Train Schedules (Station to Station), which are provided for the current week only, for your travel on a specific date or trips.

July 4Th is a celebration for all.Because this country was born on the freedoms granted to all.Just because our for fathers we ignorant about slavery does not make us so. Columbus Day was founded before there was any idea that he did not find America first. Why do we still celebrate it.You just try taking a paid Holiday away from a working man,,LOL

If their union contract says it is, it is. Unions would make just about any day a (paid) holiday if they thought they could get away with it...
