I think somebody in Y Answers is an illegal! The question is perfectly legit, and is downright harmless. With all of the nasty stuff going on in this forum as well as others, it surprises me it got pulled. The reason the Mexicans get the most focus is because they make up the greatest number of illegals as well as the fact that it is their border the majority of illegals come across. I live in New York and as far as I can tell, we ain't getting overrun by Canadians, eh?

They might have pulled it because it seems like personal communication. When people ask questions looking for someone to talk to, that is against the rules I believe. However, that is not a question that I would have reported. Its not hurting anybody.

Your friend already knew that there are illegal immigrants from various countries.

It is not necessary to post it, otherwise it will only spawn hatred for the mentioned group. Yahoo panel deliberates the questions before pulling them off the discussion board. Of course, the question has to come to their attention first before they can act on it.

No it's not offensive, BUT I'm noticing a lot of thin skinned people on here Hayley.
The Q should NOT have been pulled. It's a legit Q.
Can't wait to see your results.

Mmm

I think the question could have been asked in a different way.
It could imply that most illegals in the US as Mexican etc.

It is also difficult to ask a question about behavior which is illegal.
If I asked a question about who takes illegal drugs some people might be offended.

I don't find this question offensive myself but I can see how people might not like it.

Good Luck !

If the question was not insulting in any other way then I think it was not right.
We had the case of an Irish woman on the radio a few weeks back, she's living illegaly in the US for years and comlained she could not come home for a visit. She got very little sympathy from the people who reacted to her call.

That people focus on the Mexicans when there are so many illegal immigrants from other countries is, to me, a good indication that racism is the main force behind the uproar.

Yahoo also deleted gokarts question his question was simple"Where is the love" Its a strange group of people that can find that offensive.
It looks to me my friend you are damned if you do and damned if you don't.I see many clearly racist and offensive question and comments made against whites, blacks, yellows and they don't get deleted at all.Its a strange world this Yahoo.

There is nothing wrong with that question at all. There are just too many whiners from the pro criminal side who report people for anything and everything. They were deleting my questions right and left and I would just keep re-posting them. It's censorship, pure and simple. If you know it's a legitimate question, and these losers on this forum have it removed, it's censorship. Keep re-posting.
