How come on TV the bell always rings and then the kids go to class, but in real life you need to be in class before the bell rings?

because it's TV. When I went to school it was like that too. You had a bell to let you out of class but you had to be in class before the second bell rang.

in real life there are two bells. the first one is to say 5 minutes to get to class or you'll be late and in shows or movies they dont want to take so much time on a school bell or people getting to class so they make them go when the bell rings...

I know, it's weird, huh? And why is it that classes on tv seem to always be about five minutes long? They always end a class scene with the bell ringing and the teacher giving out last-minute homework instructions. I guess b/c it's tv...and it doesn't say anywhere that tv has to resemble real life! :)

In our school, we were going to the class only after the bell. How come you were in the class before the bell rings? Your school might be of special class....hahahaha

no because in my school there is a bell to indicate you need to go to class then there is another on 5 mins later to say you should be in class by then . Any body who arrives in class after the second bell is classed as late

because on tv, kids are too cool for school!

You know, on tv, they always have that one teacher that stands by the door looking at their watch, counting down to when the bell rings. Once it does, the lock the door and there are like five kids outside door. Now that is reality!

i have pondered this myself but when i got a bell at school we had two - one 5mins before as warning and one when we had to be there. although my friends school had to leave their lesson 5mins before each bell to be at the next class for the bell ringing...what is better about missing the end rather than the beginning is anyones guess!!
