my brother's herohonda is stolen ? he has done it's insurance in orientalinsurance company. he has also reported to the police regarding this.the case was happened before 2 and 1/2 months . police could not found it. so kindly suggest the way to claim for a new bike to the insurance company.

Call the insurance company. Have the policy number handy, tell them you're reporting a claim. Have the police report number handy.

You should have contacted the insurance company immediately, and they may have issues with the fact that you didn't, but just call the insurance company, and report it. It's pretty easy.

One other thing to consider, if the cost to replace the stolen bike does not exceed your deductible, you should not file a claim. You won't get anything back anyway, and then you have a claim on your record. Having a claim can make it hard to keep or to replace your coverage.

You need to call your local police station and tell them a bike was stolen, the day it was stolen where the bike was and the description of the bike.
