Computers slow down after continued use, just like your room. Once your room is clean it is very easy to maneauver in it, but once it gets cluttered with books, clothes, games and other things it becomes hard to move around in there. A computer is the same way after continued use it will become hard to move around and need to be cleaned. Music Librarys can slow down computers. When you have an excessive amount of music on your pcs it will slow it down. It all depends on the size of the files also. They can be pretty big files.

go into your control panel, click Internet Options ,there is a Temp Folder, hit delete temp files, and also delete cookies. your computer keeps track of every page you visit . Delete it once a wek or whenever you see it getting slow,remember...your computer saves EVERYTHING you visit,n that takes tons of Bytes away from your memory when you want to do games which gobble your hard drive. Just delete this file regularly,n you should be OK..Dee

File Corruption occurs when to much data is placed in sectors. a Defrag will help. But best solution is to use a Dual Drive setupm, place all the Media Files on a Drive that does not contain the OS.

Well the thing is is that downloading music and games and such, can result to too much gigabytes (spelling?) and that will slow it down.

If you want to help your computer and make it go faster, you can delete some music and game that mabye you dont play as much or music that you dont listen to as much.

Hope this helps!

downloading is a complicated process,it consumes lot of memory.and also inter bandwidth is used to the max while downloading..so speed reduces if u start to browse that time..better download when all ur activites r done..so keep untouched when computer is downloading any file..so it finishes fast..otherwise it lags, irresponds and becomes unstable.
