This question is for christian illegals or christian supporters for illegals in the U.S.A.

In the Bible it says to OBEY THE LAWS OF THE LAND. It is against the law in the U.S to come here illegally. What are your views on this? Im not trying to start a fight I just want your answers. Please no hateful comments.

Ive seen so many supporters of illegal immigration on here say that this is Gods land, and that they should be able to do what they want. According to the Christian Bible it says to obey the laws of the land!

Dont answer this question saying im not a christian because the question if for CHRISTIANS. Dont be stupid!

One of the Ten Commandments is "Thou Shalt NOT Steal",yet illegals think nothing of STEALING other people's social security numbers!!!! I know someone this happened to,and he has had a HORRIBLE time trying to get the mess straightened out that was caused by an ILLEGAL!!!!!! The IRS wanted MY FRIEND to PAY the back taxes that were OWED by the illegal that had STOLEN my friend's ss#!!!!!!
ANOTHER commandment is,"Thou Shalt NOT lie"yet illegals LIE all the time about their legality!!!
ANOTHER commandment, "Thou Shalt NOT Covet Thy Neighbors,Wife, etc, etc", and yet Illegals COVET the things that Americans have!!!!
Illegals ONLY seem to "pick and choose" which scriptures seem to suit THEM!!!!

Titus 3;1-Continue reminding them to be subjection and be obedient to government and authorities as rulers

Rom 13;1-and a dozen more

To fellow poster
Daniel--he obeyed until it went against God's law of worship--and only than.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego -obeyed all until they were asked to worship another person or God.
Daniel is filled with them obeying the laws of the land-they only exception is of worship to another.

But Peter and John and the other Apostles all obeyed the laws--except when he goes against God--NO OTHER REASON. Otherwise they were to follow the laws-rather they liked them or not!!!!!

Judge not or you be judge--that was of the heart--not earthly things. God permitted judging of earthly things--all throughout the bible. Paul even called out Peter in front of the congregation for a wrong doing. Wrong is wrong and was often called out (to long to write all the examples). How would one turn away from wrong if not told?

One can quote the Bible all they want--"Hungn" but unless you use the whole book in Harmony you are WRONG! Even Satan used parts to temp or deceive. And you just did the same.

In answer to the question. Yes they are going against it. I do not support this-it is wrong. And I am allowed to call out wrong (until God changes the system). He will be their final judge in the end. There will be no justification for a wrong if one knew better. Better hope they don't try. But other things might be taken into account (being poor is not a reason).
I have met some from Mexico-who have not come in illegally--they know it is wrong and have followed their values. I am sure this is pleasing to God.

Rather anyone likes it or not--it doesn't change what is written. The book was to be taken as a whole-not pick parts.

Many sin--even basically good people. If one continues in it-knowing it to be wrong-they will answer for it.

I do believe many who come are nice people but your question was not about that. I hope I answered yours. And expelled some untruths or twisting of the book.

Absolutely! You are correct. Christians are to obey the law of the land and to not do so is SIN, whether or not disobedience to His command is in ignorance.

The illegal immigrant knows he/she is illegal in the US and in the wrong and if indeed a Bible Christian, knows coming here is wrong.

If that is so, aren't they outside the will, and out from under the protection of God? A rhetorical question? The answer is a resounding YES.

How about Christians supporting criminals in the commission of their criminal acts? Is that the Christian way? No! Never!

You cant dictate who answers a question,no matter how you try,and I'm not the least bit stupid. And although you are correct in that Bible quotation,it really has nothing to do with religion. But if it helps to curtail illegals then say it loudly and often.

Ann,I have seen that argument used many times on this forum,by bleeding hearts that support illegals.

Well, Ive been on this site for weeks reading all kinds of immigration questions because this issues is near & dear to my heart. I have seen NO ONE answer by saying that this is "Gods Land and they should be allowed to do what they want"
Why dont you ask about "loving thy neighbor" it says that in the good book too. Or, that doesnt really matter cuz Chirstians only use the bibile to defend they'er position not as a guide to be Chirst like, OOps - I forgot!

People speed in their cars every day, even good Christians. People steel and commit adultlry every day - even good Christians. Chirstianity and Immigratin have nothign to do with each other. Except that people use the law & the bible to control and manipulate other people. You can not legislate stupidity.

It says that no where in the bible. The closest it comes to saying that is "rend to ceaser what is ceasers" which CAN be INTERPRETED to MEAN "obey the laws of the land".

But lets face it, if someone isn't going to obey the law, what makes it likely they would obey God's laws either?

I believe that although they believe in their religion, their need to take care of their families is their first instinct.

A mother will protect her child at any cost just as most men will provide for their families at any cost. What is the worst that can happen to them if they are caught here? They are sent back home where they begin to try to come back here again.

I have been in the non-tourist areas of Mexico where you see the people who are trying to get here. It isn't pretty and it made me grateful that I didn't have to live like that.

While I think they should come here legally, I do see where they give up hope of making it legally and come here illegally.

All Christians pick and choose what scripture they follow. they have to; some contradict each other.

No offense intended; most Christians I know are decent people; and I thin we're lucky they follow decent scripture, especially when the Pat Robertsons out there emphasize all the sinister ones.

yes, they are against God's will by entering illegally--by trying to improve the lives of themselves and family is right, but the method is wrong.

Illegal immigrants have no business coming over here. You know that, I know that and they know that. Religion has nothing to do with the issue.
