i see, you probably got an unexpected .exe ran... why don't you try start>accesories>system tools>system backup and backup to a date when you guess your background had only one image...

You could try going into your desktop via c: (the hard drive) and seeing if there are any rogue files there.
If you are using Win XP go via C:/documents and settings//desktop although some networked computers are configured different ways
Otherwise, from memory, I think you go via C:/windows/profiles:
Presumably you have tried going to display via Control Panel (Start, Control, Display, Desktop) and choosing a different wallpaper.

Scan your desktop with any Antivirus software it could probably a virus issue.

if it on your desktop, it probably that big lamp you have there when you use your camera, just move the lamp, all will be fine
