I'm studying to be a doctor...
What I tell you is very important: don't think that life in hospital is like the one you can see on TV shown in E.R or Dr. House, it's much more like Scrubs...
It's not easy but it's very gratifying.
It's something like became a priest or a nun, you got to have had something like a vocation, because when you're a doctor your life is voted to the other people, they always come first, surely before yourself!!
Anyway I think it's the most beautiful job you can choose...

Go for it. Good money, always guaranteed a job. If you do, you should try to go into family practice. I read that by 2020 we will see a major decrease in that field because most doctors are leaning towards specialities.

I say go for it. America is in short supply of Family Physicians. The pay for specialist is alot higher. If you like helping people, go for it. But only do it if you are sincere, not just for the money. Otherwise you will hate it.

Right. Four years in Pre-med. Four years of Medical School. Two years of internship. And then, for the rest of your life, HMOs tell you how to practice medicine, and they spent six years to get MBAs. Medical malpractice? They can't be sued, but you can. Hey, go for it.
