I would have to agree that it was a foolish choice to make on her part. I would never pay $3,000 for a television console myself. Sorry you lost the money.

I agree with you 100% , ask your wife to get a cat-scan done think she fell and hit her head that she thought spending that much was the right thing too do

I think it is stupid. That's way to much to spend on a tv console. But, you can't tell her that.

Need to know more about the TV that she bought. However, if this will make her happy let it be. Money is not everything. You have to enjoy life.

That depends, was it her money or your money? My wife works and buys what she wants. I may not agree with what she buys but she doesn't bother me when I buy something silly.

It's only stupid if she didn't discuss it with you first. IMO, you should discuss all major expenditures with your spouse.
