WHAT'S WRONG WITH BEIING GAY? AND YES I THINK HE WAS

You know what? There is a definite difference between being gay and being celebate. All monks ever do is hang out with guys. Does that mean that all monks are gay? What about nuns? Surrounded by women all day must make them gay. What a closed-minded question!

No, Jesus was not gay. Whats the matter with you, really? He didn't refuse to marry Mary Magdalene, it never even came up. Obviously you do not understand the concept of having close friends of the opposite sex.

Jesus had a larger purpose in life than what you, I, or anyone else has. Being the Son of God, why would he marry anyone? He did not have the same urges that we did? He had far greater struggles and bigger temptations to overcome from Satan. Much bigger temptations than we all fal prey to on a daily basis.

I really hope you are "being funny". This question is offensive. Jesus did not live in a time when people "hung out". He did live in a time when it was customary for men to lead and teach. The people around him were men he chose carefully to be his disciples, to go forward and spread the word of God. They learned from Him.

I know that he was not gay. He would not have gone against His father in any way and that would have been quite a slap in the face. He refused Mary because he needed to keep His concentration on the enormous job that he knew He had to do. (That is what I beleive anyway. I also believe that at some point He stopped denying her and they became married.)

Homosexuality is an illicit lust forbidden by God. He said to His people Israel, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination" (Leviticus 18:22). "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them" (Leviticus 20:13). In these passages homosexuality is condemned as a prime example of sin, a sexual perversion. The Christian can neither alter God's viewpoint nor depart from it.

In the Bible sodomy is a synonym for homosexuality. God spoke plainly on the matter when He said, "There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel" (Deuteronomy 23:17). The whore and the sodomite are in the same category. A sodomite was not an inhabitant of Sodom nor a descendant of an inhabitant of Sodom, but a man who had given himself to homosexuality, the perverted and unnatural vice for which Sodom was known.

no jesus was not gay, he hung out with guys because he realized he had alot more to teach us about being humble than women. He refused magadelene to show that guys can think about more than just sex.

He was not gay.
It was normal for men not to marry until they were about 30 years old.
Why would Jesus want to marry someone and then almost never see her as He went out to preach the good news of God's kingdom (and He knew that He would soon die)?

And why is it because a man is celibate , he must be gay? he was Jesus and I am sure as The Christ and Savior he had the power to control his urges. Get your mind out of the gutter. :-)
