Yes do yourself a favor and think about yourself for a second, those kids that you have are most likely awesome and beautiful, but you want them to be financially stable and happy as well. Give yourself a break and give those kids the attention they want, need and deserve! Believe me 6 is plenty! You have gone forth and multiplied, now lets get those kids some great education!

Do what you think is best! If you are quoting the Bible, everyone can read the Bible and interpet it differently! When God first made the world, He wanted people to Go Forth and Multiply. I don't remember anywhere it saying how many children to have!

Your children are gifts and you should be good stewards of those gifts. If you cannot provide for any more children, financially, emotionally, or otherwise, then I think the answer is obvious. However, I do not claim to be the absolute authority. Pray. Talk with your spouse. Seek pastoral input--notice I said input-- too many ministers try to dictate the lives of their parishoners. Let him or her advise you. But the decision is ultimately yours.

God said "Go forth and multiply way back when there were only two people on planet earth. Things have changed since then and I don't think we need people to keep multiplying. It may be time to start subtracting.

The Lord said that to Adam and Eve, and they did.
He also spoke of humanity being the caretakers of the earth as His creation. All things being equal now I think we can respect over use of the earths bounty as reason to assume that we no longer need to multiply as much as Adam and Eve did.

only you can answer this
since I am always agains people who crytisize other for having a lot of children I would never tell someone when to stop
I feel that I am not the one taken care of them I should not say to someone that you have too much
if you and your Hus feel that 6 is anough than stop
but if you feel that you can dealt with the good & the bad of raising children then don't
Enjoy your children

Only you can answer that question. The command "go forth and multiply" was given to those when the world was not populated with people - I think it's thoroughly populated now, so you don't need to take that command on your own shoulders. :)

SIX!!!!!! WOW that is a crew.I do not think our lord would want you to bring harm to yourself or the others whom you care for weather this is financially or whatever I do believe he is proud of what you have brought him and six would be plenty if you are ready to stop .

I have heard several family therapists say that if either partner doesn't want another child, then the answer should be "no" about having another child. It has to be mutual on both fronts. Blessings.
