Do you really need a note? If you're ending your life because it is insignificant, why do you feel significant enough to write a note? It must be because someone you care about will be hurt by your passing, right? I won't say it's not worth it to end your life, because I have come close to it myself. But you may want to sit back and re-evaluate before you do. Think about how it will affect the people around you. I did. I found I was still depressed afterward though, and I went and talked to a doctor. As it turned out I had chemical imbalance, and I had to take some medication for a while, but it helped and now I'm married to a wonderful person, and I'm glad that I'm still around to be with him.

You want to write a note to "ease the pain" of the people you're leaving behind? Why bother? Suicide is the ultimate "F you." Don't kid yourself that this note is going to comfort them or ease their grief - nothing will ease their pain if you do this. Chances are they will not understand or forgive you whether you leave a note or not. The only thing that will truly make things easier on them is if you get some help now by calling 911 and don't kill yourself.

Well, my best bet (or yours) is to talk to a psychiatrist about it. They have experience with people who write "ending life notes" all the time. I bet they have a lot of insight.

Except...go to one in an office. Man, I went to one who worked out of her home...and there were all these empty Cheeto bags and dog bicuit cartons EVERYWHERE! I ended up never going back to the woman..not because of the garbage, but because the first and only session ended up being a session for her! Come to think of it...I never got paid!

Don't bother with it then, if you don't want to live to say what you got to, then whats the point of leaving a note??

Or to make it short as possible, like - "good-bye"!!

Long enough not to leave any thoughts out. Your destroying the lives of every human you have ever known. It's only fair to tell each and every one of them why.

One may want to explain why s/he may want to hurt their family and friends so much. And, it does really hurt them.
