It's hard....if you realize how much better you feel after eating healthy foods, it might help. Also, read a lot about what food does to you. Try to eat healthy for 1 week.....your clothes will fit better and give you motivation to continue. Good luck.

A good approach for you might be the South Beach Diet. After a while this diet changes your taste buds so that food doesn't taste good to you anymore.

The South Beach Diet does not deprive you of food. It operates on the principle of keeping you feeling full while changing your metabolism and cravings from inside. Phase One, which is basically the low carb high protien phase is the hardest. It lasts only two weeks. Weight loss on this diet is rapid. The belly is the first to go.

I went on this diet three year ago. I was a junk food addict like yourself. Lunch and Supper were binges of prepacked 'TV' dinners or fast food. Breakfast was a sugar coated cerial. I drank a litre of soda a day. I would eat a super sized french fry and two hamburgers. I weighed about 100 kilos. Now when I try to eat junk food it all comes in two basic flavours-like salty paste or a bowl of sugar. So I just keep eating healthy because healthy food tastes better to my palate. Today I am a tiny 55 kilos.

The best thing to do is not to buy it. I love junk food, but the only way I eat it is if I buy it and bring it home to have whenever I feel like it. If I don't buy it and it's not in the house, I can't eat it because it's not there. Buy things that are healthy for your body.

If you keep eating junk food you're going to become a ticking time bomb for cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure.... and who knows what else. I was starting to get high cholesterol and I was only 135 lbs and 5'7" and 25 years old. I was within normal weight for my heaight, but I wasn't taking care of myself, so I had to stop the junk food.
I had to go back to 124lbs and started working out.
Take care of yourself, for your own good.

Give your body good foods, kinds without preservatives, additives, and chemicals, and that's what your body will crave. You can buy french fries, popcorn, and all kinds of snacks in the natural food section. And you will be amazed at how much better they taste.
Food manufacturers actually use chemicals that make you crave more and more unhealthy food. This is a good site with lots of info, books and stuff.

problem is 2-fold: Mental and Physical. You can cure your physical cravings by going on a 3-day fast / cleanse and then going on an alkaline diet. Check out www.innerlight.com or Dr. Robert Young's book The PH Miracle. Once the physical cravings are cured, you have to address your addiction to the sweets. You know what to do. Good luck.

I used to hit the snack machine at work every day; several times a day. I added Stack Body Tune Up and reduced my cravings. I don't snack like I used to. I was about 70 pounds (31.75kg) overweight and I have lost 32 pounds (14.51 kg) in 69 days.

If I can be of further assistance, let me know.

only buy healthy things to snack on. it will be hard the first couple days but you will eventually get over the junk food. i was the same way over a year ago, now i haven't had any junk food since then, except for the once a month slice of pizza! good luck

I have same problem. I have lost 13 pounds in about two weeks since I got rid of the alcohol. It slows your metabolism to a creeping-crawl.

Well, you could call a plastic surgeon and ask if he would let you see the container of fat removed from his next lypo procedure. That should curb your cravings for a while if the mere suggestion didn't already accomplish this for you.
