Vague question, but I work on the 3rd shift and am running into problems meeting women. I'm a young guy in my mid 20s and I never had a problem befor I moved to working nights. Minus quiting my job does anyone have any advise/Ideas?

find where other 3rd shifters hang out...there are a lot of them out there. When I worked 3rd shift, there were a few local bars that opened early...no loud music made it easier to meet women...and they all have problems finding guys now that they are on 3rd...hey, something in common already.

Shift the time of day you sleep. I have worked 3rd shift. I started out being awake mainly morning to afternoon and sleeping several hours just before work. -- the last half of my day, in other words. This wasn't working. Over time, I switched that somewhat, and started sleeping all morning and afternoon, and going out in the evening, with maybe a one or two hour nap just before work, if I could squeeze it in.

It's hard. And I know you don't want to think about quitting. But that may be the answer if your social life is terribly important to you. I hate 3rd shift. I find your home life, social life and even the quality of your work (ironically) takes a beating when you are on 3rd.

Good Luck.

You could try finding a nice, friendly place to get breakfast when you get off work, or a place to have coffee before you go in. I'm sure you will meet someone who understands. 3rd shift definately sucks, but you still have Friday and Saturday night. I wish you good luck, and don't quit your job- a woman would rather have a guy working 3rd shift, than one who doesn't work at all!! :)

Ask to change shifts. Also it depends what your job is. Women like when a man is there with them at night holding them...so working at night. Also...check out the women on your job...on your shift...because a person that has the same problem as you definetely won't have a problem with it.

Dude, Iknow what you mean. When I was younger I worked the 3rd shift and it seemed like I was always missing out on everything. by the time that you get home you can't go to sleep and when you go to sleep then by the time that you wake up all you have time to dois get ready for work again.

Life is short and you are too young. Find another job, go back to school and enjoy your youth.

if ur doing 3rd shift i assume you have a 3 day break in between. First day i say catch up on sleep

if ur up for it that night socialise in something u like that interests u. Second day go to the mall or the beach or somewhere with a lot of women

3rd day...well up to you. thats plenty of time to meet women!

i think finding women is a hard job in itself.... if u find one doing nite shift u got the mojo!,

its not finding her... its about keeping her. most women want a lot of attention, so if u can somehow squeeze in the attention then u have urself a gold mine mister! :)

Women working on third shift are there because they really need the money for something. They don't want to be bothered with dating right now. Is that what you're guessing?

When i worked 3rd shift i allways had good luck at the supermarket. At the meat counter complain about prices to nice young girls. Ask her for cup of coffee .

Go out on the weekends. Just because you work night doesn't mean you don't have a social life. Get out there and start the hunt.
